Network Health Score & Operational Dashboard
RoutePulse computes a composite 0-100 health score derived from five weighted categories that together capture the operational state of your entire routing infrastructure. Router Health measures the ratio of connected to total routers. Peer Health factors in session up/down counts minus a flap penalty. RPKI Coverage evaluates your own-prefix validation percentage. Anomaly Rate subtracts anomalies_per_hour multiplied by ten from a perfect score of 100. Stability normalizes against DFZ churn to account for global routing noise. The result is rendered on an HTML5 Canvas animated gauge featuring spring easing, glow effects, and full HiDPI support, with score zones color-coded green for 80 and above, yellow for 60-80, and red below 60. A historical timeline allows operators to track score trends and correlate dips with specific events.
Each category generates actionable recommendations so that operators know exactly where to focus remediation efforts. The Peer Health sub-dashboard offers a dedicated period selector covering 1h, 6h, 24h, 7d, and 30d windows, displaying uptime percentages, active flaps, per-peer instability ranking, and a flap event timeline. For compliance and executive reporting, RoutePulse generates PDF reports from three templates — Daily Operational, Weekly Audit, and Monthly Executive — each containing 10 sections, produced in under 5 seconds at less than 2 MB per file. Reports can be delivered via PDF download, email using GOLINE branded templates, or Telegram document upload. Over 40 Prometheus metrics are exposed at the /metrics endpoint with a 30-second scrape interval, and a 28-panel Grafana dashboard template organized across 7 rows is available as a downloadable JSON file. The dashboard integrates data from anomaly detection, RPKI validation, peer health, and the flow collector to present a truly holistic operational status.
