Don’t install Security Update for Exchange Server
Be cautious about installing the KB5036401 update on Exchange Server 2019 CU 14 as it compromises many features as:
- Local Outlook search (in cached mode)
- OWA attachments become invisible
- DAG database balancing in a cluster also encounters numerous issues (BalanceDbsByActivationPreference).
- Some emails, even after being read, remain marked as unread or with the yellow envelope.
